The Health Education Unit (HEU) collaborates with a multitude of partners, both within Ulster County government and in communities throughout the county, to address important public health issues and challenges. HEU places an emphasis on empowering individuals, families and communities, by providing them with information, tools and resources (via printed materials, studies and reports, referrals to outside health agencies and organizations, live presentations, instructional videos, radio and TV ads and online media) necessary prevent illness and chronic disease conditions.
